Chinese shares open mixed

Beijing, July 25 (IANS) Chinese stocks opened mixed on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.2 per cent to open at 2,911.45 points.<br> <br>The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.1 per cent higher at 9,475.71 points, Xinhua news agency reported.
The ChiNext Index, China’s NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was down 0.03 per cent to open at 1,629.13 points.
