Berlin, July 15 (IANS) Hertha Berlin striker Davie Selke will be out of action for an infinite period of time, the Bundesliga club announced on Sunday.<br> <br>The 23-year-old striker suffered a heavy chest injury during a training session and immediate examination revealed a pneumothorax, reports Xinhua news agency.
“The loss hurts of course. As a team we will absorb his injury. I wish Davie a speedy recovery,” Hertha Berlin coach Pal Dardai said.<br> <br>According to the club’s statement, Selke will be sidelined “for an indefinite period” and “definitely miss the season opener” against newly promoted Nuremberg on August 25.<br> <br>”The injury annoys me incredibly. It really puts me off but I can’t change it now. Injuries happen in professional football.
